Our Values

The word on the door is the standard inside it.

Five letters. Five pillars. Everything we ask of a resident — and everything we owe them — fits inside the word that named this house.

First

Grace is freely given.

You do not audition for a place here. You do not have to be impressive, presentable, or halfway fixed. Grace is the front door, and it costs nothing — because it already cost everything.

Then

Trust is faithfully earned.

Grace gets you through the door. Trust is built after it — in kept promises, honest answers, and a hundred small days where you did what you said. Nobody hands it over. Nobody withholds it forever, either.

Always

Responsibility is willingly accepted.

Not imposed. Accepted. There is a moment when a person stops asking who did this to them and starts asking what they’re going to do about it. That moment is the beginning of everything.

The GRACE Framework

Five pillars, spelled out.

Faith. Structure. Accountability. Community. Purpose. Here’s what each one actually means when you live here.

G
Pillar One · Faith

Grounded in Faith

Christ is the center of this house, not the decoration on it. We believe people are changed from the inside out, and that a rebuilt life without a rebuilt heart eventually collapses again in a nicer neighborhood.

What we ask: be open, be part of a local church, and let people speak into your life.
What you can expect: discipleship rather than lectures, patience with where you actually are, and never a word of pressure to fake something you don’t believe yet.

R
Pillar Two · Structure

Rhythm & Responsibility

Structure is not control. It’s scaffolding — the temporary frame that holds a wall straight until it can stand on its own. Predictable mornings, honest work, a curfew, chores, rent on the first: unremarkable things that quietly rebuild a person.

What we ask: keep the rhythm even on the days you don’t feel like it.
What you can expect: expectations stated clearly up front, applied to everyone the same way, and never used to shame you.

A
Pillar Three · Accountability

Accountability in Love

Accountability without love is just supervision, and love without accountability is just sentiment. We aim for both: people who genuinely want good for you and will tell you the truth when you’re drifting — early, while it’s still a small conversation.

What we ask: answer honestly, including on the weeks the honest answer is embarrassing.
What you can expect: the truth from us too, delivered face to face, with your success as the only agenda.

C
Pillar Four · Community

Community Over Isolation

Almost nobody falls apart in a crowded room. Isolation is the relapse before the relapse — and the antidote isn’t a meeting on a calendar, it’s people who notice when you go quiet at dinner.

What we ask: come out of your room. Eat with the house. Let yourself be known.
What you can expect: a household, not a hallway. Shared meals, shared work, and men and women who’ve been where you are.

E
Pillar Five · Purpose

Employment & Purpose

Work restores something sympathy never can. A paycheck you earned, a skill you built, a shift you didn’t miss — these rebuild identity as much as income. And past the job is the bigger question: what are you actually for?

What we ask: work, save, serve somewhere, and start looking past your own survival.
What you can expect: real help getting hired, employers who partner with us, and someone asking you regularly what you want your life to be about.

If those five words describe what you want, come talk to us.

The standard is high on purpose. So is the welcome.
